[Redacted],
I spoke with my neighbors who witnessed my arrest.
Apparently, I was TEASER-ed several times while the officers sat on my back and whacked at my arms with their batons, trying to get me re-cuffed.
Several people have died over the years from being TEASER-ed, especially if they were having trouble breathing.
I asked the precocious 9 yr old who talks about me “going to the big house” how many times I was TEASER-ed and she said “100” then she said “30.”
Obviously, she was exaggerating, but…
My family and I went down to Connecticut this past weekend to return a relative who’d been helping out up here, so my conversation w/ the neighbors was brief.
I’ll try to get more info, and they might even have some pics, during the week.
One thing I read about TEASERs is that they are meant to “induce a feeling of vertigo” and make people fall down. Since I was already on the ground, the use of the TEASER may be questionable. Also, I was, I admit, and there is no hiding, drunk. I have no memory of the baton beating or the TEASER-ing, only a strong recollection of struggling for breath, being held face down in the grass of my own front lawn, shouting “I surrender, etc.” (I also remember shouting something about “Rodney King” and “take a video of this.”)
I am going to try to see a Doctor today about my continued chest pain and tingling sensations in both hands and arms.
Thanks, [redacted].
I’ll keep you posted.
